If I could trade wardrobes with anyone—and I really do mean anyone—I would trade with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Before the minimalist aesthetic was as prevalent as it is now, she was paving the way, favouring forever pieces in place of the short-lifespan trends that often prove all too tempting to other stars being courted by big, flashy brands. I can scroll three years into her Instagram feed, and not a single thing will feel dated, which is proof that she has an eye for a hardworking staple. (Her closet is built on the likes of Totême, Bottega Veneta, and The Row.)
That’s not to say, however, that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley only ever wears well-known, high-end designers. Through her Instagram feed, I discovered brands I didn’t previously know. Marcéla London, for one, has become one of my favourites. She’s also a fan of Bec & Bridge, the Australian label I’ve bought a couple of my most-worn dresses from. She’s known to find the chicest-looking pieces from Zara, too.
So, naturally, when looking for inspiration for my autumn/winter wardrobe, I head straight to Huntington-Whiteley’s social media and begin saving down my favourite looks. During this process, I’ve quickly identified the key pieces that make up her autumn capsule wardrobe. Because I try to be a nice person, I’ve decided to share them with you below. Scroll on to see the autumn trends and pieces Rosie Huntington-Whiteley relies on.
